‘‘न्यू मीडिया और जनसंवाद’’ विषय पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी

संगोष्ठी का उदघाटन आज प्रातः 10.30 बजे विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में

 

            भोपाल/13 दिसम्बर 2013/माखनलाल चतुर्वेदी राष्ट्रीय पत्रकारिता एवं संचार विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा एशियन मीडिया, सूचना एवं संचार केन्द्र (ऐमिक), सिंगापुर के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में 14-15 दिसम्बर 2013 को दो दिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। संगोष्ठी का उदघाटन आज, शनिवार, दिनांक 14 दिसम्बर 2013 को प्रातः 10.30 बजे विश्वविद्यालय परिसर के पंचम तल स्थित सभागार में होगा। उदघाटन सत्र के मुख्य अतिथि ऐमिक के भारत के प्रमुख श्री बिनोद सी. अग्रवाल एवं मुख्य वक्ता दैनिक ट्रिब्यून, चंडीगढ़ के पूर्व सम्पादक श्री विजय सहगल होंगे।

इस अंतरराष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी का मुख्य विचार-बिन्दु जनसंवाद के विभिन्न प्रकारों की पड़ताल करना है। जो न्यू मीडिया के परिणामस्वरूप आकार ले रहे हैं। इस संगोष्ठी में विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित पाँच तकनीकी सत्र सम्पन्न होंगे, जिसमें देश-विदेश से पधारे विषय विशेषज्ञ, शैक्षणिक जगत की प्रख्यात हस्तियाँ एवं शोधकर्ता अपने विचार रखेंगे।

विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो.बी.के.कुठियाला ने बताया कि संगोष्ठी में मुख्य रूप से इस बात पर विचार किया जाएगा कि न्यू मीडिया कैसे जनसंवाद और उसके उपयोगकर्ताओं पर असर डाल रहा है। आज हमारे समक्ष एक विचारणीय प्रश्न यह है कि सोशल मीडिया में जनसंवाद के विभिन्न लक्षण राजनैतिक परिचर्चाओं, जनसहभागिता और जनतांत्रिक मूल्यों को किस प्रकार प्रभावित करते हैं? संगोष्ठी के माध्यम से विचारकों और लेखकों को इस बात के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाएगा कि वे आनलाईन समुदायों की अंतःक्रिया की गतिशीलता का परीक्षण करें और यह भी देखें कि क्या आनलाईन साइटों का उपयोग का अनुभव प्रतिभागियों द्वारा लोक जीवन में होने वाली अन्य चर्चाओं को आगे बढ़ाने और प्रभावित करने में किया जा रहा है? क्या लोकविमर्श आपसी टकराव को सुलझाने में लोकतांत्रिक विकल्प दे पाया है?  इन्हीं सब बिन्दुओं पर इस संगोष्ठी में विचार-विमर्श होगा।

संगोष्ठी के दौरान विश्वविद्यालय के संबद्ध अध्ययन केन्द्रों से सार्थक संवाद बनाए जाने की दृष्टि से प्रकाशित की जा रही त्रैमासिक गृह पत्रिका ‘‘एमसीयू समाचार’’ के प्रथम अंक का विमोचन भी किया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के समस्त परिसरों के शिक्षकगण, देश-विदेश से पधारे शिक्षक, शोधकर्ता एवं मीडियाकर्मी उपस्थित रहेंगे। संगोष्ठी का समापन 15 दिसम्बर 2013 को दोपहर 2.30 बजे होगा।

Journalism University Organises International Seminar on ‘Public Discourse and New Media’

 

In Association with Asian Media, Information & Communication Centre (AMIC), Singapore

Inauguration at 10:30 AM at the University Campus

 

Bhopal/13 Dec 2013/ Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCU), Bhopal and Asian Media information & Communication Centre (AMIC) are organising an two day International Seminar. The Seminar will be inaugurated at the University campus on 14^th Dec, 2013 at 10:30 AM in the Conference Hall on the 5^th floor. The chief guest of inaugural session is Mr. Binod C. Agrawal, Country Head of AMIC and keynote speaker is Mr. Vijay Sehgal, Ex-Editor Dainik Tribune, Chandigarh. The focus of the seminar will be to explore the new forms of Public discourses that are emerging as a result of New Media. In the seminar, there will be five technical sessions being conducted on various related arenas, in which national and international delegates, experts from academics and research scholars will present their ideas and papers.

          The University Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.K.Kuthiala mentioned that seminar will focus and talk mainly on Public Discourse through New Media and the impact on its users. The question today to be raised is how specific features of Public Discourse in Social Media influence political discussion, participation and democratic values? Through the seminar, experts and authors will be encouraged to examine the dynamics of interaction in online communities and how the participants of there online sites experience, propagate and influence others to resolve conflicts? How the dynamics of online interaction support or deter participation in media mediated political discussion. All of the above topics shall be discussed during the seminar.

          A quarterly house journal “MCU News”, its first issue will also be inaugurated, which is designed to encourage better communication with the University study centers.      Faculties of all the campuses, national-international academicians, research scholars and media representatives will be present in the seminar. The seminar will be conducted on 15^th Dec, 2013 at 2:30 PM.
